This is the year for me to begin liking punk tunes again.

Panic! At the Disco not only sports a fun band name, but a unique sound - mixing punk with a distinct dance vibe, courtesy of electronic synth and drum loops. The mix feels surprisingly natural.

I often couldn’t handle the song lyrics of most of these emo bands… the same songs written for the angry highschool sophomore, over and over. You can only hear “Dad doesn’t understand” so many times.

And like Fall Out Boy - who I love for their music and especially their lyrics - Panic! At the Disco doesn’t disappoint. And who doesn’t love song titles like Lying Is The Most Fun A Girl Can Have Without Taking Her Clothes Off and There’s A Good Reason These Tables Are Numbered Honey, You Just Haven’t Thought Of It Yet.
