Moving. Again.

I’m moving to San Diego on May 15th.

This has been a long time coming, and I kind of new after my stint in Seattle, it was pretty likely that I’d make the move down to San Diego. I had assumed I’d finish up my year here before heading down… but things worked out for me going down earlier. I’m excited to be there in time to enjoy Summer, though.

I’m able to take my day job with me and work remotely again, so my dream of wearing flip flops year-round to to work, seems to be coming true.

I’ve gotten many a messages about a new mix, which is great… one is in the works. I’ll have it out in time for Summer. I’ve also started posting photos again… though I’m only caught up to the end of last Summer (!) so I have a ways to go. I promise to pick it up. You can spank me if I don’t.

Thanks again for the nice messages everyone has sent recently.

PS. Watch this web series above, it’s effing hysterical.

Seattle is my new (old?) home

Unless you’ve been in my very immediate circle, there’s probably been some radio silence on my end.  This is for a good reason – I’ve been dealing with a whole lot of life recently.

Mark and I have separated.  I have moved back to the US, and am now living in Seattle.

I don’t dive deep, sharing dissections of personal parts of my life on here – that’s never the blog I wanted to have – but I feel compelled to at least share a few words.  Mark has obviously been a big part of my life over the last 7 years, and that’s been reflected on this blog.  I can say very honestly, that I still care deeply for him and wish him nothing but happiness, and that there isn’t any hostility between us… but we’re heading in our own separate ways.

Starting from scratch in a new city / coast / continent has obviously consumed much of my mind and free time.  I’m no longer working remotely, either (after 5 years!)… so I’m actually trekking into an office like a normal chap once again.  Things are beginning to settle, and I’ll soon be working on a mix and going through the massive shit-tons of photos still on my camera.

I appreciate the emails asking about when I’m tossing out another mix… the answer is soon, hopefully.  And I appreciate the loyal readership and interest in my little hobby that I enjoy so much.  I’ll be back at it soon.

Off to the CIRCUS this Friday in Montreal

Say hi if you see me!…  I’ll be on the floor :)

Favorite part of the video above?  4:00 minutes in, where she jumps in a cage and starts thrusting.

THAT’S my girl.

Let’s get caught up with things.

My New Year’s resolution?  To get caught up.

I’ve got months of pics and videos to share, but have been pretty busy with the whole "real life" thing recently… not to mention the time-suck of some other rekindled interests of mine.

So before work sends me off on another multi-week adventure later this month, my goal is to get my ducks in a row.  Fast and furious.

Happy New Year’s, y’all.

It’s awesome to feel hopeful

This Robyn song is perfect for how I’m feeling.

I typically leave talk of politics out of my blog, and leave it to the writers who passionately focus in that area.  I’m certainly no expert.  But I felt compelled to share - along with countless other Americans and individuals across the world - a simple statement of how hopeful I feel with Obama ready to lead the country.

Hearing Obama’s first speech as President-elect, effected me.  When he called out gays specifically, among the under-represented minority groups, as part of America… I felt hopeful, for the first time in my whole adult life, that the leader of my country didn’t see me as the enemy, didn’t damn me with ages of religious hate… and told me, to my face, that I was America, too.

Pretty damn cool.  Just wanted to share.
