my first original house mix: britney’s “do somethin”
I’ve recently made a hobby of mixing continuous house CDs for the listening enjoyment of my friends and I. I’ve always thought it would be fun to take it a step further, and remix a song myself. Well, I finally gave it a shot.
I’ve remixed “Do Somethin” - a bouncy pop track from Britney’s Greatest Hits CD. While it’s surely not perfect, I was pretty pleased with what came of it. It’s given me enough excitement to really learn how create remixes really well.
I’d love to hear what people think. I’ve named the track “Do Somethin (DJ Bravehound’s Penetration Mix)”. No, I’m not a DJ. I’m just really pleased with myself. :)

Thanks guys… I actually used MixMeister to mix this one, though that sofware isn’t at all meant to do that type of audio work. Gaymer - what a cool site. I posted in the City of Heroes thread :)
