only old people say SNL isn’t funny anymore
*unfortunately, the site hosting this movie file is no longer :( *
This is one of my favorite recent Saturday Night Live skits. Even though Tina Fey has moved on to do 30 Rock (which I’m liking so far… who knew Alec Baldwin was so damn funny?), the newer stars of the SNL cast are still great… this skit includes all my favs. The newest of which on is the far right - SNL’s newest voice talent, Kristin Wigg.
In case you’re reading this before watching the clip above, I won’t spoil the funniest line that Amy Poehler blurts out. It’s extra funny to me, as I’ve woken up with money in my underwear before, and only vague recollection of how it got there…

Oh my God, that was hilarious. I love all those girls.
thanks for the comic relief. i hope you got more than $10 though…
ahh, that clip was great!
when did that episode air?
sorry to say, i have not woken up with money in my underwear :-(
Well, that would explain where that $20 bill went, but I’ve never had the opportunity to stick money in your underwear, Andrew, living all the way down here in AZ. :(
ummm isn’t that from last season, rachel’s on 30 rock now(well kind of she got demoted)
ummm yes it is. Though I don’t know about demoted… all I know is that Tracy Morgan shouldn’t have work - especially from Fey.
She was supposed to have Jane Krakowski’s(SP?) role
and i call it “fun money”
The deal is, SNL is funny AGAIN.
Love, an “old” guy
I will need to catch this clip in re-runs. Unfortunately SNL/NBC must have someone search the web and have there skits pulled quickly because they are not on YouTube and others very long.
P.S. I am a big fan of your site. Love the look!
I am 25 (so if you’re in highschool, I guess I’m “old”) and I think SNL has been inconsistent and generally crappy for the last few years. I really like the new people they have, I just think the writing is weak and uninspired. It’s sad to think of how many comedians/writers make better stuff for peanuts while these people make a bundle on SNL to write bad sketches so Paris can address recent media topics via “comedy”. To think that this man produced Kids in the Hall, how the mighty have fallen.
