Warcraft Addiction: must… rest.. from leveling…
What had been a now-and-then gaming experience, has become a part time job. But one that fills me with glee.
I went down to Seattle for work the week of Thanksgiving, and spent the long weekend in Zane’s rec room playing WoW with him. And eating cake bars. And drinking beer. And maybe another cake bar.
In anticipation of the big upcoming expansion to World of Warcraft, a few friends and I have started horde characters on the Frostwolf server. Why? To earn money and good stuff for the pack of blood elves we’re planning to create on January 16th. That, and to have some “bigs” on the same server to help fight of Alliance bitches if they feel the need to gank our new “littles” too much.
So what am I?
World of Warcraft - Frostwolf Server (PVP)
Drosera - 37 Undead Warlock
Mahnal - 18 Tauren Druid (pictured above)
(and coming soon, a Blood Elf Mage)
So after a workday of sitting at the computer, my “fun” computer time has been sucked up by my addiction with the game. By sharing this, I figure I’m allowed a little leverage with my recent lack of updates on the blog & moblog. But don’t fret. My “To Blog About” bookmark folder has some
interesting stuff in it.
Perhaps some other players out there might hit me up in the game and play with me - could always use more buddies to play with.
Zane, Rob, Steve, and my bro Scott have all created characters on this server, gettin’ ready for the expansion. If you play WoW, join us! If you don’t play, but want to try it out, hit me up for a free trial account (free installation of the game and a 10-day pass… just make sure your computer can handle a decent video game).
I’ve always wondered what the PvP servers were like for lower levels. The other day my Level 29 rogue was running for the zeppelin outside Orgrimmar after finishing a battleground and I got ganked twice. Somehow thats what I envision playing on a PvP server would be like… but it would it be fun to try out sometime.

37 and 18, eh? It’s gonna take me a few nights to catch you… I have 3 60’s out there, but they’re all on PvE servers.
I’ll whip something up tonight after MC and look for ya. Any class y’all need to round the group out?
I’m rolling a BE Priest after the expansion. Maybe I’ll roll on Frostwolf with that one too.

Everyone’s likely gonna start a new guy after the expansion, so I’m pushing people to get on Frostwolf. So do it!

Hey, I saw you at Comeback! over Thanksgiving weekend here in Seattle.

WoW? No way! I’m eagerly awaiting the release of Vanguard: SOH. Sure, It’ll require me to buy a new computer to run it, but hey, it should be worth it.
