World of Warcraft: Back in the Saddle!

wow

Reunited and it feels so good!

After a long break from WoW - and never really getting to the end-game content I’ve heard is where the game *begins*… I’m back at it.  That’s Bravehound (geez, what a surprise) above… my blood elf warlock on the Proudmoore server.  And of course, I’ve hooked up with the big gay guild on there… at my level (26 at the time of this post), that’s the Tainted Love guild.

So what happened to Tabula Rasa?  Well… I stopped playing once work got so demanding that I swore off all “fun” on a computer for a good while.  My elbows were aching and I needed as much time away as possible.  But now that things have normalized - as much as they ever will, anyway - I’m back, and ready to play WoW.  TR was fun, but WoW just has a heart that makes the time spent in the game, so damn fun.

Maybe it’s the community, the art in the game, and the fact that it’s *still* growing like crazy.

Or maybe it’s the fun music videos (like the ones below) that people make using World of Warcraft.  :)

There’s too much fun to be had in and around this game still!

lol. those music videos are off the rail!

So I got this rad new computer in December and thought I haven’t played games in years, let’s see where things were at. I came across a lot of recommended games and ended up going with TR because a couple reviews said it was written with the non-hard-core-gamer in mind. WoW just seemed too hard core for me. And I had remembered hearing about TR here on Bravehound (first of course). So I dove in head first and am lovin’ it. There was a slow take-off because I soon realized I needed invasive surgery on my video card. That’s all taken care of and got a couple characters up to level 12 or so before work got really busy in Feb (I can commiserate with you bh) and finally left Concordia Wilderness behind. Thinking I need to join a clan soon.

Do you know anyone who’s still playing? Sad to have missed the beefcake brigade.

    Cheers,
    Alistair.

P.S. neat new logo - the tilted reflected bh… fresh!

This talk of WoW has gotten me back in the mood to play again. Last time I played, over 3 years ago, it was with a group from work, but because they had different shifts than I, they would play at odd (well, odd for me) hours of the day and night.

Thinking of reloading the game and starting a new character on Proudmoore.
